Fatigue testing machine in 1 MPa hydrogen gas

The machines are used for tensile and fatigue tests in hydrogen-gas environment. Maximum gas-pressure is 1 MPa. Test temperature can be controlled between room temperature and 300°C.


Fatigue testing machine

The machines are used for various material tests (e.g., fatigue test, fatigue crack-growth test and fracture toughness test) in ambient air. Test temperature can be controlled between −160 and 300°C.


Torsional fatigue testing machine

This machine was originally developed for realizing shear-mode fatigue crack-growth test of hard steels. By adopting a resonance system, low-cost and high-speed fatigue test is achieved.


Microscopes and Analizers

This microscope is used for fractographic observation at high magnifications. The microscope equips EDX and EBSD detectors, which enable microscopic componential analysis and the crystallographic analysis.

This analyzer can measure the mass of hydrogen desorbed from a cylindrical sample during heating.
