Compared to the reciprocating piston engine, it has simpler structure and makes low vibration sound.  However, the combustion chamber and internal flow have a unique structure, so that the ignition process is different from that of reciprocating piston engine. Our laboratory is proposing to achieve stable ignition by introducing GPFJ (Gasoline Pulsed Flame Jet).
